The love of Nature comes from a spirituality deep within.

The love of and understanding of Nature come from a spirituality deep within. I feel pity for those of us who leave it buried and never discover the real world around us.

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
                                                                             Mahatma Gandhi

The microscopic shell of a marine protozoa displays incredible beauty.

"Spiritual relationship is far more precious than physical. Physical relationship divorced from spiritual is body without soul."
                                                                             Mahatma Gandhi

We, like other primates, share feelings of love for others.

"What do I think of Western civilization? I think it would be a very good idea."
                                                                             Mahatma Gandhi

An annual whale hunt attracts morbid curiosity in the face of overwhelming world disapproval.

"As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remake ourselves."
                                                                            Mahatma Gandhi

Are humans so afraid of their weaknesses that they cannot tolerate greatness nor intelligence in other beings?

Mahatma Gandhi had much to say about man and the environment. I'm sure he would be appalled at the way we treat other living things in our 'enlightened' world.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
                                                              Mahatma Gandhi

"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean: if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty."

                                                                                                    Mahatma Gandhi

"A man is but a product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes."

                                                                 Mahatma Gandhi

"Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth."

                                                            Mahatma Gandhi

"It has always been a mystery to me how men can feel themselves honoured by the humiliation of their fellow beings."

                                                                Mahatma Gandhi

"Where there is love there is life."
                                                                  Mahatma Gandhi
